Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the Multinational Programme Coordinators and Managers in the issuance of local policies and the generation of invoices across the European Starr Offices;
  • Assist in the creation of Premium allocations for multinational programmes;
  • Create all bookings on the relevant IT systems;
  • Work with Underwriting Assistants to ensure data accuracy;
  • Support the Multinational Programme Coordinators in generating compliance reports showing local regulations in multiple countries worldwide;

Experience

  • Ideally entry level experience within the commercial insurance industry;
  • Working within a team environment;
  • IT and systems.

Skills

  • Competent level of mathematical ability;
  • Fundamental understanding of the Lloyd’s and London Market;
  • Exceptional telephone manner;
  • Customer service and maintaining professional standards;
  • Planning and organisational skills with proven experience of prioritising a conflicting workload;
  • Strong communicator, both written and oral;
  • High level of self-management.

Systems & IT

  • MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook;

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE / A Level – with at least 5 A – C at GCSE (including Maths).
