BYD Stourbridge is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join our busy dealership. You will represent BYD, engage customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right vehicle.

You will drive sales through demonstrations, test drives, and clear discussions of finance options while meeting dealership targets. The role requires experience in automotive sales, strong communication, and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience is essential.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to build rapport.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience presenting vehicles and handling test drives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face-to-face, by phone, and email.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable BYD vehicles.
• Demonstrate BYD models and technology to customers.
• Arrange and accompany test drives for interested buyers.
• Handle enquiries and follow up sales opportunities to close deals.
• Work toward individual and dealership sales targets and discuss financing options.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain high customer satisfaction.

BYD Stourbridge are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join the team at our busy dealership in Stourbridge.

The Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Car Sales Executive to join our team at BYD Stourbridge, part of the family-owned and operated All Electric Garages Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent BYD, one of the world's leading new energy vehicle manufacturers, and work with an expanding range of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have previous automotive sales experience and a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while working towards individual and dealership sales targets.

You will be confident building relationships with customers, understanding their individual requirements and helping them find the right vehicle for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers face-to-face, by telephone and via email
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Understanding customers' requirements and recommending suitable vehicles
• Presenting and demonstrating the latest BYD models and technology
• Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
• Managing customer enquiries and following up sales opportunities
• Working towards individual and dealership sales targets
• Discussing vehicle finance and available purchase options with customers
• Negotiating and completing vehicle sales
• Accurately completing all relevant paperwork and administration
• Maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey
• Keeping up to date with the latest BYD models, electric vehicle technology and offers
• Supporting the dealership’s social media activity by appearing in vehicle videos, promotional content and dealership updates
• Being comfortable presenting vehicles on camera and taking part in live content across our social media channels
• Working with the marketing team to showcase new vehicles, offers, events and dealership activity through engaging social content

About You

• Previous experience within automotive sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• The ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships
• A proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience with Motability, vehicle finance or F&I would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Previous experience selling electric or hybrid vehicles is also beneficial; however, full product training will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm, with one day off every other week
Saturday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Sunday: Ad-hoc shows and special events only
