Job Title: Buying Admin Assistant

As Disturbia continues to grow, we are hiring a Buying Admin Assistant to join our Buying Team. This entry-level role supports the wider buying team and collaborates with existing BAAs, offering an excellent opportunity for those interested in entering the fashion industry within a fast-growing brand.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Raising and amending Purchase Orders (POs)
  2. Creating PO overviews for sharing with the wider business
  3. Sample management, including organisation for fits, sign-off meetings, rack-ups, and photo shoots
  4. Managing critical paths by working with the Tech team and supporting the buying team; ensuring key dates are met, following up on issues with suppliers, and communicating potential delays; managing library of lab dips and strike-offs
  5. Entering key information on Centric for team visibility
  6. Building strong relationships with overseas suppliers
  7. Assisting in preparing products for sign-off meetings
  8. Supporting the department's smooth operation and assisting with daily administrative tasks
  9. Supporting market analysis through weekly comparative shopping/benchmarking reports
  10. Performing other ad hoc duties as required
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  1. A degree in fashion or previous experience in a fashion environment
  2. Excellent knowledge of the fashion industry
  3. Strong, clear, and effective communication skills
  4. Proficiency with reporting platforms and spreadsheets
  5. Confidence, self-motivation, and tenacity
  6. Highly organised and able to prioritise
  7. Meticulous attention to detail
