Want to get into a unique side of the automotive industry? This vacancy offers a great opportunity to explore this field!

We are recruiting for a Technical Buyer for a client involved in specialist projects, creating a diverse challenge for their supply chain team to establish and maintain preferred suppliers capable of supporting these projects.

This company is a well-respected name in the specialist vehicles market, working with leading OEMs in engineering, vehicle performance, and manufacturing to develop their "halo" vehicle projects.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Purchasing specified components and materials in collaboration with engineering and quality teams.
  2. Raising purchase orders and prioritising key projects to ensure timely delivery.
  3. Coordinating with engineering teams to specify and procure Bill of Materials accurately.
  4. Negotiating and maintaining regular contact with suppliers.
  5. Conducting cost-reduction activities and regular cost reviews with suppliers.
  6. Negotiating with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery time.
