The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in construction procurement, with the opportunity for progression within the firm. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Our client, a well‑established, privately owned, £50m turnover, main contracting business, seeks to hire an experienced Construction Buyer to work from their East London head office. Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, you will purchase a wide range of building materials – aggregates, bricks and blocks, timber, glazing and other common and specialist materials – as dictated by each new project. The company operates across Housing, Education, Health, Commercial and Public sectors, undertaking new‑build and refurbishment projects up to circa £10m each in value. You will be part of a vibrant, tight‑knit team with clear objectives and a career path for progression. Candidates should have 5+ years’ experience or be assistant buyers looking to advance.
