Ethos Resourcing is seeking an experienced Construction Buyer to join their team in Barking, East London. This role involves purchasing a diverse array of building materials such as aggregates and timber for various projects across the housing, education, and health sectors.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in construction procurement, with the opportunity for progression within the firm. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

• 5+ years’ experience in construction purchasing or similar roles.
• Ability to manage procurement for various projects.
• Familiarity with a wide range of building materials.

Our client, a well-established, privately owned, £50m turnover, main contracting business, seek to hire an experienced Construction Buyer to work from their East London head offices.Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, you will be purchasing a wide range of building materials; aggregates, bricks and blocks, timber, glazing and other common and specialist materials as dictated by each new job. As a business they cover the; Housing, Education, Health, Commercial and Public sectors, undertaking a wide range of new-build and refurbishment projects, up to circa £10m each in value. You will be working as part of a vibrant and tight-knit team, with clear objectives and career path for any desired progression. With a stable senior management team, this is a good environment to both and develop professionally.
