Job summary

Holdsworth Foods, a leading UK foodservice distributor, invites applications for a Butcher to join the butchery team at our Tideswell depot. You will work with a skilled team to produce quality cuts for our customers, with a focus on accuracy and food safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong knife skills and ability to handle sharp objects safely.
• Understanding of different cuts of meat and their uses.

• Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications.
• Trim excess fat, gristle, and other undesirable parts from meat.
• Portion meat into appropriate sizes for packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.

We are looking for a Butcher to work in our Butchery team at our Tideswell depot. You will be joining a highly skilled team who produce excellent cuts of meat for our range of customers.
