Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, is looking for a dedicated butcher to join the Derby site. You will cut meat to specification and pack/scan in a presentable manner for distribution, working 16:00–01:00, Mon–Fri, in a 40-hour week.

You should have previous meat-handling experience, strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety rules, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. The role offers a pension, generous holiday, staff shop discounts, and ongoing training.

Salary up to £28,974 per annum (depending on experience) + night shift premium

As a butcher you will be responsible for cutting the product to meet specification and pack / scan in a presentable manner ready for distribution.
