Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, seeks a Hygiene Operative in our UK production facility. You will support hygiene across production, warehouse and amenities, ensuring areas are cleaned to the required standards in a cold environment (0–5°C).

Working hours are 21:00–06:00, Monday to Friday (40 hours). Experience in food hygiene is preferred; physical fitness and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Food safety and Hygiene experience in a food production setting.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• A naturally organised person with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support hygiene across production, warehouse, externals and amenities.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to required standards.
• Work in a meat production environment with temperatures 0–5°C.

Working Hours: 2100 – 06.00 (40 hours), Monday to Friday.

Salary up to £26,852 per annum (dependent on experience)

Fairfax Meadow is the UK’s favourite foodservice catering butcher and has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years. As a Hygiene Operative in our factory, you will be responsible for the hygiene support throughout the production, warehouse, externals and amenities processes as directed.

A satisfying role

As a Hygiene Operative you will need to be comfortable working with a meat production environment with temperatures from zero to five degrees. Ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the correct requirements.
