Job summary

Ethero Ltd is seeking a Meat Production Operative to prepare meat to customer specifications and ensure the correct product is supplied. The role emphasizes yield, avoidance of cross-contamination, and strict hygiene and Health & Safety practices.

Work pattern is Monday to Friday, 16:00–01:00, on-site with facilities including free parking and a canteen. The role offers overtime opportunities and PPE, with requirement to prove right to work in the UK and compliance with Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

To ensure meat is prepared to customers’ specification and that the correct product is supplied.
Strong focus on yield and giveaway.
To ensure Hygiene and Health & Safety practices are adhered to at all times.
To adhere to the companys Hygiene and Health & Safety Rules.
To ensure that red meat and poultry are not handled at the same time to avoid cross contamination.
To ensure that raw meat is not handled at the same time as wrapped cooked meats to avoid cross contamination.
To inform the Production Supervisor of any problems with meats received.
To inform the Production Supervisor of any defects in equipment.
Ensure all butchery is of the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications.
Ensure all meat used is correct for the job.
Ensure stock is held and rotated in line with requirements of the business and agreed company procedures.

Pay: £37,369.00 per annum

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.
