Hilton Food Group in Huntingdon is seeking a Butcher/Skilled Knife Operative (Days) to join our team. You will process product to high standards and help achieve target yields while working the day shift pattern.

You will receive training to develop skills and work closely with the Team Leader to spot issues and opportunities for improvement. This role offers a family‑friendly environment and modern facilities.

• Experience as a butcher or trainee butcher preferred.
• Awareness of current health & safety regulations.

Job description

Role title: Butcher/ Skilled Knife Operative/Trainee Butcher (Days)

• Salary: £13.86
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (6am-6pm)
• Location: Huntingdon

About the role:

We are now looking for a Butchers, your responsibilities will include typical tasks when it comes to processing product to the highest standard, delivering on product quality and achieving the target yield.

You will also be working closely with the Team Leader in spotting any issues and problems but also any ideas and development. We will be happy to provide further training to further develop your skills too if that is what you want!

To succeed as a Butcher we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:

• Ideally previous experience of working as a Butcher
• Real passion and familiarity with current H&S regulations and rules
