Ethero Strategic Staffing in Derby is seeking a skilled Butcher for a permanent on-site role. You will prepare meat to customer specifications, manage yield, and uphold strict Hygiene and Health & Safety standards to prevent cross-contamination.

You will report issues with meats and equipment to the Production Supervisor and ensure correct stock rotation. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 01:00, with benefits including free parking on site, a canteen, and PPE.

To ensure that red meat and poultry are not handled at the same time to avoid cross contamination.
To ensure that raw meat is not handled at the same time as wrapped cooked meats to avoid cross contamination.
To inform the Production Supervisor of any problems with meats received.
To inform the Production Supervisor of any defects in equipment.
Ensure all butchery is of the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications.
Ensure all meat used is correct for the job.
Ensure stock is held and rotated in line with requirements of the business and agreed company procedures.

Pay: £37,369.00 per annum

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.
