Job Description:

Join us as a Business Unit Reporting Analyst

  • You’ll be helping to deliver our end-to-end Business Unit Reporting control activities for each of our franchise and legal entities and assisting our customers at a senior level in key finance areas.
  • Day-to-day, you’ll be establishing working relationships with key stakeholders in Product Control, Financial Control, and other customers within the wider Finance function.

  • We offer a hybrid way of working where you’ll be based in our Manchester office at least two days a week, with the rest of your time working from home.
What you’ll do

Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing product level data outputs from the Product Control teams to ensure they are appropriately recorded, substantiated, and reflect our position. You’ll do this by complying with policies and regularly assessing the effectiveness of our controls.

Additionally, you’ll deliver within the service level agreement to provide high-quality, accurate financial outputs supporting statutory, regulatory, and management reporting.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Ensuring the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information to support internal and external reporting, with added value commentary and analysis.
  • Completing assigned activities promptly, ensuring reports and outputs are produced on time and of high quality.
  • Supporting change initiatives, process improvements, and systems implementations related to our processes and applications.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and sharing them with the reviewer, lead, or wider team.
  • Troubleshooting queries and submitting KPIs on time.
The skills you’ll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a qualified accountant or working towards a qualification, with experience in global finance teams, working under tight deadlines and managing key finance deliverables.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

  • Experience managing core financial control and reporting outputs, including ledger close, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting, and external audits.
  • The ability to build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the finance function.
