Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Business Studies Teacher to provide long-term cover at a Secondary School in Dartford. The placement is full time work likely to last the duration of the academic year.

The school are looking for a candidate who can cover Business Studies up to KS5 and support the faculty. The role requires QTS and experience in Secondary Education, with safeguarding training and strong behaviour management expected.

Qualifications

• QTS and experience in Secondary Education are essential.
• Taught in a Business Studies department either permanently, as supply cover, or on teaching placement for NQTs.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training is required; can take a free Prospero course if not completed recently.
• Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

• It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in Secondary Education.
• You will need to have taught in a Business Studies department either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.
• Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
• Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

Eligibility requirements

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child related references.
