Job summary

Prospero Teaching in the Sefton area is seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving secondary school. The role is temporary with long-term prospects, full-time hours 8:00am–4:00pm, and start as soon as possible. A qualifying teaching credential with QTS is required.

You will plan and deliver lessons on finance, marketing, management and economics, assess progress, and support exam preparation. Right to work in the UK and two professional references are needed.

• DBS check or willingness to apply for a new one.

Secondary Business Teacher

Location: Sefton

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm

Pay: Paid to scale

Requirements:

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
