Full Time
Help us transform how a leading Scottish professional services firm works by combining technology, automation, AI and better business processes.
We are looking for a curious and practical Business Systems & Automation Analyst to help us improve how we use technology, systems, information and data.
Working directly with the CTO, you will act as a bridge between colleagues across the business, our managed IT service provider and other technology suppliers. You will help us understand operational challenges, improve processes, coordinate technology projects and turn good ideas into practical solutions.
This is a broad and developing role. It would suit someone with experience in business analysis, business systems, applications, project delivery, data improvement, digital transformation or a related area who wants the opportunity to broaden their skills.
You do not need to be an expert in every technology we use. We are more interested in your ability to understand problems, work well with people, organise delivery and learn new tools.
Your responsibilities will include:
Initial projects may include helping departments prepare information for a planned file migration, improving data quality, developing a pipeline of automation and integration opportunities, and strengthening the coordination of user support and security-awareness activities.
These projects are part of a wider and evolving role rather than its sole focus.
You will ideally have experience in a business systems, business analysis, applications, technology improvement, project delivery or similar role.
A degree is not essential. Relevant experience, an apprenticeship, HND, professional qualifications or evidence of practical learning will all be considered.
We are looking for someone who:
This is an opportunity to work closely with the CTO and gain experience across business systems, project delivery, automation, data, AI, integrations, security awareness and digital improvement.
You will have the chance to take ownership of meaningful projects, see the direct impact of your work and help shape how the role develops over time.
We will support your professional development through practical experience, coaching and relevant training or certifications.
We welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and career paths.
Technology careers do not all begin with a computer science degree or a traditional IT role. Transferable experience from operations, business analysis, application support, data, process improvement or other areas may be highly relevant.
If the role interests you but you do not meet every listed requirement, we would still encourage you to apply. We are interested in your potential, your approach to problem-solving and what you could bring to our organisation. This role does adopt our hybrid working policy.
We are committed to providing a fair and inclusive recruitment process. Please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments during the application or interview process.
Interviews are expected to take place during the week commencing 28th September 2026.
