What is arguably the most exciting insurance company in the market right now, seeks a talented Business Systems Manager to lead the development of an exciting new insurance platform.

This position could suit a current Business Systems Manager or an experienced Business Systems Analyst ready to take the next step.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Management: Executing, setting up, and maintaining business systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Integration: Overseeing application integrations to ensure smooth data flow and functionality.
3. Project Management: Managing system-related projects, creating plans, allocating resources, and tracking progress.
4. Process Improvement: Optimizing system efficiency and business processes to support organizational objectives.
5. User Support: Providing technical assistance and training to ensure effective use of business systems.
6. Data Management: Maintaining data integrity and accuracy, and producing reports for decision-making.
7. Compliance and Security: Ensuring adherence to cybersecurity regulations, conducting audits, and performing risk assessments.
8. Collaboration: Partnering with departments to fulfill system requirements and enhance productivity.
9. Problem Resolution: Addressing IT issues and leading troubleshooting efforts to minimize disruptions.
10. Quality Assurance: Supervising testing of system capabilities, data integrity, and user proficiency.

It’s essential that you have demonstrable experience working with systems in the insurance sector, backed by knowledge of the insurance process in either a commercial or personal lines environment. You should possess strong technical skills in developing and implementing new system solutions, a comprehensive understanding of computer applications and systems, and excellent analytical, innovative, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Change Management to support business process, systems, and technology transitions is also required. You must be able to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The office is based in state-of-the-art premises in central Manchester. We are open to considering candidates from further afield who are willing to travel to Manchester periodically.
