Our highly skilled and supportive Front Door Team is looking for a dedicated Business Support Officer to join us on a part-time, permanent basis . This is a vital role at the heart of Children's Services, providing administrative support to Social Workers, Front Door Advisors and Team Managers . Working days: Wednesday 1:30 - 5pm, Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 5pm
As part of this busy team, you will be responsible for processing and managing safeguarding referrals received through the Dudley Portal, telephone calls and emails . Due to the urgent nature of the work, you will need to work efficiently, accurately and confidently , managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service .
You will communicate with a wide range of professionals, partner agencies and members of the public on a daily basis, making excellent communication and customer service skills essential .
