Trafford Council is seeking a part-time Business Support Officer to join our team. The role involves attending and minuting meetings, assisting with weekly panels, handling travel and interpreting bookings, data entry, petty cash, and general admin tasks to support social workers within the town hall.
You will work in a hybrid pattern with flexibility in terms of home and office days, and you will need to manage your time effectively to meet tight deadlines while delivering quality outcomes.

We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to enable us to continue to build on our success and also bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team. As a Business Support Officer you will complete a range of tasks including attending and minuting a range of meetings, assisting with weekly panels, travel and interpreting bookings, data input, handling and paying out of petty cash as well as a range of duties on an ad hoc basis with the role continuing to develop. You will also undertake general administrative duties such as telephone and emails and assisting social workers within the town hall.

You will take ownership of your actions be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team to complete tasks and produce results.
You should have experience in managing your own time and working to tight deadlines and be able to prioritise tasks.
