An established industry player is seeking a proactive Business Support Officer to join their dynamic Cellular Pathology and Microbiology departments. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of diagnostic laboratory services. The successful candidate will possess excellent IT and communication skills, working within a friendly team to uphold accreditation standards and enhance patient care. Band 4, Part-time £26,530 - £29,114 per annum pro rata
Hours: 18.75 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 0845-1230). All MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working.
The Pathology department is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive individual for the role of Business Support Officer. This position involves providing secretarial and administrative support to the Laboratory Managers and Operational Service Leads of both Cellular Pathology and Microbiology departments. The aim is to deliver an efficient, high-quality administrative service to support the day-to-day operational delivery of diagnostic laboratory services.
Cellular Pathology and Microbiology are busy, diagnostic departments, with Cellular Pathology playing a vital role in the Trust's diagnostic cancer service. The successful candidate may also be required to support other areas of pathology as needed.
