A leading software solutions provider seeks a Business Support Officer to enhance organisational efficiency. Based near Guildford, you will coordinate administrative support across various business functions, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service while handling key performance reports.
We are looking for a Business Support Officer who can bring strong organisational skills and attention to detail, to our rapidly growing business. Our team works mainly with Public Sector organisations to deliver software solutions and applications that drive value and engage customers using Microsoft technology.
The primary focus of the role will be supporting the administrative function of running the business across several areas including Sales, Contracts, Delivery, Finance and Supply Chain. The BSO will be responsible for ensuring activities follow our business processes and that all administration activities are in place to facilitate the smooth operation of our engagements. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to underpin our business operations, drive efficiencies, report on key KPIs and look to continuously improve our ways of working.

Mission
Your mission will be to facilitate and support the effective running of our business operations. You will act as the conduit between processes and teams to ensure our projects correctly follow process and have all supporting artefacts in place to run, from the point a new project is identified through to monthly invoicing and final project closure. You will ensure our customers receive a great service by making sure invoices and contractual documents are correct, in-place and operating within parameters.
You will build and run key KPI reports and present to senior management. You will track and monitor the status of contracts, ensuring contract criteria is met and action taken before deadline dates. You will maintain Project records and liaise directly with delivery teams to ensure all information is correct and up to date. You will liaise with 3rd party suppliers to keep track of their contractual status and deliverables with us.

Our office is near Guildford and most of our customers are within London. You will need to travel to the office and customer site as required to deliver projects. Our expectation is that on average you will be in the office 2 days per week.
