Job summary

Howarths is an award-winning family business providing Employment Law, HR and Health & Safety support to over 600 SMEs across England. We’re looking for a Business Support Apprentice to join our team in Cleckheaton, starting your career with practical administration, customer service, events and broader business operations.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll receive support while developing knowledge, confidence and workplace skills, and you’ll complete a Business Administration

Qualifications

• No two days will be the same; you’ll support different teams and help the office run smoothly.
• You’ll ideally be positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner
• Greeting visitors and creating a welcoming and positive first impression
• Supporting the team with general day-to-day office administration
• Assisting with diary management and meeting room bookings
• Accurately updating our client database and internal systems
• Helping to organise company events and activities
• Providing administrative support to different departments across the business
• Completing a Business Administration Level 3 course with our chosen training provider
