Prospero Teaching is actively seeking Business Studies graduates with degrees who want to work as Teaching Assistants and possibly become teachers in the future.

We are looking for Business Studies graduates with a degree in Business Studies to work in a secondary school in Enfield. Candidates with good grades at GCSE and A level, a Business Studies-related degree, strong communication skills, and dedication are especially encouraged to apply.

As a Business Studies teaching assistant, you will work in a secondary school environment with teenagers, requiring patience, positive role modeling, and consistency.

What does the Business Studies Graduate teaching assistant role involve:

• Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons
• Building rapport with 5–6 students with specific needs, implementing strategies to nurture, engage, and improve their attainment
• Providing 1:1 Business Studies tuition sessions supporting your subject expertise
• Running intervention groups to enhance students' knowledge of the subject

Support provided:

• Training, guidance, and support from experienced consultants at Prospero and our Training and Development Team, as well as from the school
• Free training and CPD sessions

School support:

• Resources and strategies to support learners
• Behaviour management training
• Group and 1:1 training from qualified, passionate staff

Role details:

• Full-time hours, 8am – Friday
• Requirement to run an after-school club once a week and attend a departmental meeting weekly
• Paid weekly at £100 per day, with potential for a permanent position
