Prospero Teaching is actively seeking Business Studies graduates with degrees who want to work as Teaching Assistants and potentially become teachers in the future.

We are looking for Business Studies Graduates with a degree in Business Studies to work in a secondary school in Camden. Candidates with good grades at GCSE and A level, and individuals with strong communication skills and dedication, are especially encouraged to apply.

As a Business Studies teaching assistant, you will work in a secondary school environment with teenagers, requiring patience, positive role modeling, and consistency.

Role responsibilities include:

• Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons
• Building rapport with 5–6 students with specific needs and implementing strategies to support, engage, and improve their attainment
• Providing 1:1 Business Studies tuition sessions within your subject specialization
• Running intervention groups to enhance students' knowledge of Business Studies

Support provided:

• Training, guidance, and support from experienced consultants at Prospero and our Training and Development Team, as well as from the school itself
• Free training and CPD sessions

School support:

• Resources and strategies for supporting learners
• Behavior management training
• Group and 1:1 training from qualified, passionate staff

Additional details:

• Full-time hours, 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday
• Requirement to run an after-school club once a week and attend a departmental meeting weekly
• Paid weekly at £100 per day, with potential for a permanent position in the future
