Eligo Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Services Administrator in Harlow to support housing associations and local authorities. The role balances office-based coordination with homeworking after probation, ensuring jobs, inspections and communications run smoothly.
You’ll log communications, manage multiple priorities, and assist engineers and Contract Managers. Prior admin, customer service, or housing/compliance experience is valued, along with strong IT and CRM usage.
Business Services Administrator – Harlow
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home following successful completion of probation
Are you an organised, personable Administrator who enjoys speaking with customers, solving problems and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
We are looking for a Business Services Administrator to join a busy and supportive team within a well-established organisation delivering essential services to local authorities and housing associations.
This is a varied role where you will be right at the heart of the day-to-day operation, supporting customers, engineers and Contract Managers and making sure jobs, inspections and communications are properly coordinated.
You do not necessarily need experience from exactly the same environment.
We are particularly interested in people who have previously worked within administration, customer service or customer support, ideally within housing, compliance, engineering services or another busy service-led environment.
You will be joining an established team of 12, structured across three smaller teams with Team Leader support.
Following probation, the role also offers a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the Harlow office and two days working remotely. Most importantly, this is a role where the administration you provide has a genuine purpose – helping coordinate services that support housing tenants and contribute to the delivery of important compliance and safety-related works.
