We are seeking a Business Service Manager for the Technology CSC at Counter Terrorism Policing HQ. The starting salary is £53,459, including allowances totaling £2,928, with an annual increase until reaching £55,103. Additional allowances include a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000. The position is based in Birmingham.
Role Overview: As a Business Service Manager, you will manage service level agreements, operational agreements, and contracts to ensure high-quality services supporting Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP). Your work will directly contribute to national security efforts.
You will be part of the Customer Service Centre (CSC), providing IT services for CTP, working with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver and improve service levels. Responsibilities include monitoring services, producing management reports, conducting service reviews, and liaising with stakeholders to identify improvements.
Requirements: Experience with ITIL service management processes, including Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management. Technical knowledge in IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and monitoring tools is essential. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are also crucial.
