Business Service Manager - Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: The starting salary is £53,459, including allowances totaling £2,928. The breakdown is £50,531 basic salary, increasing annually to a maximum of £55,103, plus a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location: Birmingham
Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) depends on high-performing individuals. As a Business Service Manager, you’ll manage service agreements and contracts to provide CTP with high-quality services, supporting national security efforts.
You’ll be part of the Customer Service Centre (CSC), providing IT services. Your role involves working with internal teams and vendors to ensure service levels are met, monitoring services, producing management reports, and liaising with stakeholders for improvements.
Required experience includes ITIL service management processes such as Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management. Technical knowledge should include IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and monitoring tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
