Job summary

Reed in Partnership in Basildon is seeking a Business Manager to lead a team of up to 8 Careers Coaches across Basildon, Grays and Southend. This office-based role involves travel and offers a generous base salary with flexible working arrangements where possible.

You will manage key stakeholders including DPW and employers, drive performance, coach staff, monitor KPIs and support participants. A strong people manager with a track record of delivering targets will fit quickly.

Qualifications

• Direct line management of a team, delivering targets.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Employment Adviser or equivalent role.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement with DPW, JCP and employers.
• Performance management and identifying skills gaps.
• Managed caseload of participants and coaching staff.
• Regular reviews and input into PAR and PDP processes.
• Monitor KPIs and coach teams to improve outcomes.
