Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Business Manager to lead a team of Employment Advisers, drive performance, and maximise employment opportunities for unemployed jobseekers in the community. The role includes overseeing daily operations, staff development, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You will manage KPIs, supervise performance, and contribute to strategy while ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong results in a busy employability division.

Qualifications

• Direct line management experience of a team.
• Experience in sales, customer service or recruitment industries.
• Track record of achieving targets personally and as a manager.
• Experience in people management including training, coaching and performance management.
• Strong administration and IT skills.
• Assertiveness and good decision-making skills.
• GCSE English language at minimum Grade B or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 A-Levels or Level 3 Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Employment Advisers to support unemployed jobseekers into employment, ensuring high-quality service and target attainment.
• Monitor and manage office and individual performance against KPIs.
• Manage, motivate, and direct staff to meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs; oversee staff development and coaching.
• Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise Restart referrals and employment opportunities.
• Manage Profit and Loss reports and monthly financial forecasting.
