Bridgewater UK is seeking a Commercial Business Manager to lead a new electrical wholesale branch in Bexley. You will own branch performance, develop key customer relationships, and drive profitability within a supportive national network.

You’ll manage sales, operations and team development, with autonomy to grow the local market and deliver an excellent customer experience. A strong commercial mindset and leadership ability are essential.

An exciting opportunity to lead a new branch, drive business growth and build a successful operation with one of the UK’s leading electrical wholesalers.

One of the UK’s leading electrical wholesalers is looking for a commercially-minded Business Manager to take the lead at a new branch opening in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to take ownership of a new operation, develop customer relationships and drive sales and profitability.

You’ll have the autonomy to grow the branch, identify new business opportunities and build a strong presence in the local market, with the support of a well-established national organisation.

The Role

As Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the branch. Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking full responsibility for branch performance and profitability
• Driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
• Leading, motivating and developing the branch team
• Overseeing stock, purchasing and day-to-day operations
• Maintaining high standards of customer service
• Increasing the branch’s presence and market share within the local area

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Experience within electrical wholesale or a related trade or distribution sector
• Previous management experience, or a strong track record in a commercially focused sales role
• A proven ability to develop customer relationships and win new business
• A strong commercial mindset with a focus on sales, growth and profitability
• The leadership skills to motivate a team and build a successful operation
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work autonomously
