*Overview*We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Collision Repair Facility. We are a high volume collision repair facility who works alongside TD Insurance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the automotive repair industry. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of the repair process and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, finances, and overall performance.*Responsibilities*· Manage processes and people.· All HR requirements, recruitment, training and on going coaching.· Ensure staff is consistently delivering legendary customer service.· Ensure delivery times are met in a timely manner, and if not, that it is well-documented.· Ensure everyone is responsible/respectful with parts, materials, and overall repairs are done correctly the first time.· Troubleshooting for staff and rectifying customer complaints.· Oversee and ensure 100% compliance to CRE QC process.· Facilitate daily production meetings.· Lead an established team of professionals in a Customer/Employee satisfaction driven environment to accomplish departmental goals.· Manage the operating budget for the facility.· Ensure that every employee is focused on providing exceptional customer service.· Supervise parts procurement and supplement process.· Monitor sublets and production scheduling.· Monitor several key indicators, including daily production statistics and benchmarks to achieve productivity projections that meet TD?s and our customer's expectations.· Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and used safely and properly.· Respond to safety concerns immediately.· Follow industry standards in completing insurance forms, completing estimates, and making additional recommendations.· Ensure MRC/MC accurately reflects production on shop floor while updating due out dates on R/O's and add production notes in Vehicle Location.· Assign hours and allocate repair orders to technicians. Flag labour for technicians beforepayroll cutoff. Submit payroll to accounting firm.· Assist in trouble shooting problems that arise during the repair process, and or if a technician runs into a dilemma (if supplement damage is found, coordinate with Repair Planner and/or Estimator).· Ensure proper maintenance is taking place for various shop equipment like diagnostics scanner, paint booth, spot welder, lifts, etc.· Provide leadership to the staff.· Manage team to achieve targets.· Ensure quality standards are being met to reduce and eliminate re-work and warranty claims.· Monitor repair orders to maximize efficiency and gross profit.· Oversee repair orders and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.· Coordinate and work with CSRs and Appraisal staff.· Monitor parts usage and report on any materials issues.· Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies.· Review completed tasks and sign off on Quality Control form.· Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation.· Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.· Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.· Other related tasks as required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:* Bonus payBenefits:* Dental care* Extended health care* On-site parkingSchedule:* Monday to FridayLanguage:* English (required)Work Location: In person
