About the Role
This is an extraordinary opportunity to shape a hotel from the ground up.
As General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the pre-opening phase and ongoing operations—building the team, setting the standard, and leading with energy, excellence, and a guest-first mindset.
You will drive performance across rooms and F&B, lead a small but highly engaged team, and create a culture that reflects the boutique spirit: authentic, creative, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead the pre-opening phase: systems, hiring, processes, and service philosophy
•Oversee day-to-day operations across rooms, guest services, and F&B
•Curate and drive a distinctive guest experience from check-in to check-out
•Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
•Develop and implement sales, marketing, and community engagement strategies
•Recruit, train, and nurture a passionate, high-performing team
•Ensure full compliance with health & safety, licensing, and regulatory standards
What You Bring
•Proven success as a General Manager or senior leader in boutique hotels
•Experience in hotel pre-openings or new concept launches is highly desirable
•Deep knowledge of hotel operations, including F&B management
•Strong financial acumen—budgeting, forecasting, revenue generation
•Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach
•A passion for delivering exceptional, personalised guest service
•Familiarity with PMS, POS, and back-office systems
•Degree in Hospitality or relevant field preferred
