Liverpool Chamber of Commerce is looking for a proactive and personable Business Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team.

This is a developmental role designed to help you build valuable skills in business support, communications, and events. You’ll be a key contact for our members—helping them access services, stay informed, and feel connected. If you’re organised, curious about business, and enjoy working with people, this could be the perfect next step for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Acting as the first point of contact for business enquiries—via phone, email, social media, and in person
• Supporting membership campaigns and customer care activities
• Preparing presentations, meeting notes, reports, and maintaining our member database
• Assisting with the delivery and follow-up of Chamber events
• Supporting finance colleagues to process membership subscriptions and other payments
• Collaborating across teams to ensure members receive excellent service

This role is ideal if you are:

• Friendly, confident, and enjoy helping others
• Organised and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Interested in business, marketing, or events
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and social media platforms
