As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying prospects, creating opportunities, and fueling growth. Your mission is to generate demand and build a strong sales pipeline for the Account Executive team by using strategic outreach and a consultative approach. This role is ideal for someone passionate about live events and driven by performance and connection.

Accountabilities:

  • Proactively research and reach out to event organizers, venues, and promoters via calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify leads by assessing their needs, event types, and growth potential
  • Use a consultative approach to understand industry challenges and align solutions accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records and manage leads in CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities
  • Consistently meet outreach and lead qualification KPIs while sharing market feedback with the team


Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related B2B sales role (or 3+ years without a degree)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor value propositions to different industries
  • Proven success managing a sales pipeline and qualifying leads effectively
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and sales enablement platforms
  • A background in live events, ticketing, or work with event promoters is a strong plus
  • Self-starter with a performance-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies like SPIN Selling or MEDDIC is an advantage
