Business Development Representative - United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Telent is looking for a new addition to the Sales & Marketing team as part of the Network Services division. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our team and help build and develop relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. This role involves working through a Telent training plan and collaborating with our Warwick and Camberley offices at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a vital role in Telent’s go-to-market strategy. As you learn and grow in the role, we’ll help you map out a career path to develop your skills and advance within Telent.

BDR - Responsibilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we operate in to educate prospects.
  • Support the sales pipeline by researching target accounts and key stakeholders within these accounts.
  • Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on territory research.
  • Perform targeted outreach via phone calls, emails, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest and promote our services.
  • Follow up with warm inbound leads from marketing to convert them into meetings and opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.

BDR - Candidate Profile:

We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates who adopt a practical working style. Experience in a sales environment, especially outbound sales, and the ability to generate and identify new leads are essential. Familiarity with business tools for data targeting is preferred. Industry experience and a university degree or equivalent are also desirable.
