Zen is seeking a Business Development Representative (Fixed Term Contract) to support the AWS BDM team by generating and qualifying leads and booking quality meetings with potential customers for AWS-based solutions.
The role requires proactive outreach to identify target accounts, qualify opportunities, and build a strong sales pipeline, with a fixed-term contract of roughly 12 months and a mix of in-office and flexible hybrid working.

Role Overview: Business Development Representative (BDR) - AWS
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in supporting the AWS Business Development Manager (BDM) team by driving top of funnel activity. The primary focus of this role is to generate and qualify leads and book quality meetings that create opportunities for the BDMs to engage potential customers with AWS-based solutions.
Acting as the first point of contact in the sales cycle, the BDR is responsible for identifying target accounts and prospects, reaching out to key decision makers, understanding business needs, and determining fit for AWS services and solutions. Success in this role is measured by the volume and quality of meetings booked and the strength of the pipeline generated for the BDM team, progressing into additional revenue.
Identify and research target businesses and prospects within defined segments using tools such as LinkedIn, Lusha, and CRM insights.
Engage prospects through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn to uncover cloud initiatives, business drivers, and technical needs. Assess interest and fit based on qualification criteria.
