This is a permanent, full time homebased position, working a 37 hour week, flexibly between 07:00 – 19:00.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for identification and growth of PSS services to achieve business plan with allocated markets/clients, covering both UK and Ireland. Collation and mapping of prospective business opportunities across different service areas throughout UK and Ireland.

Job Responsibilities

  • Account Development planning. Analysis of clients’ organisation and activities to assess the potential requirements that the clients may have for Eurofins PSS. The role will allow for the continual development of knowledge of the insourcing strategy of the assigned clients and develop medium and long term strategies that result in maximising the opportunities to provide the clients with analytical and technical services.
  • Account Development will involve collaboration with counterparts from other sites and business units.
  • Understanding the potential for PSS services and establishing knowledge of Senior clients and decision makers to target initial communication establishment.
  • Support the provision of on time, high quality proposals that present the optimum solution for the client whilst ensuring on or above plan profitability.
  • Commercial – management of contractual processes including Confidentiality agreements, Preferred provider / Master Services agreements / pricing agreements.
  • Reporting – provision of account, activity and market status reports as required on a local or global basis as appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence to co-employment relationships with client services.
  • Collate and maintain tracker of client contacts, successful contact establishment and client facing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree Level or Equivalent in relevant subject or demonstrable relevant business experience.
  • Some knowledge of the GMP / GLP analytical services including pharmaceutical chemistry and routine QC testing would be an advantage.
  • The job holder needs to have knowledge of the product commericalisation and manufacturing / supply chain process for their clients and markets and in particular the testing and service requirements therein. This should include knowledge of regulatory authorities, guidelines and quality systems relating to all services.
  • Teamwork, management organisation. Ability to influence across functions across Eurofins sites and across companies to achieve objectives.
  • Proven networking skills – must be able to network internally across all functions and externally with client organisations and other service providers.
  • Must be able to influence and demonstrate professional business acumen within Eurofins and client organisations.
  • Capable of contributing to the strategic direction of the business and able to work with counterparts within PSS globally to achieve business objectives.
  • Good communication skills both internally and externally. Ability to understand clients’ requirements and to be able to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions.
