But what’s the role?
As the first SDR to join watchTowr, the SDR Lead is responsible for building, guiding and optimising the SDR function and team’s efforts to generate new business opportunities for watchTowr.
As the SDR Lead, you will be player-manager to begin until your team is built and operating effectively, and then move to a manager only role. Your main focus is to build, manage, mentor, and motivate a team of SDRs, helping them effectively identify and engage prospective customers. You’ll work closely with each team member to improve their outreach strategies, qualify leads, and ensure a steady flow of high-quality opportunities for the sales team.
In addition to team management, you’ll be tracking performance metrics, refining processes, and collaborating with Sales and Marketing to align on strategies and messaging. This role is critical to watchTowr’s growth, as you’ll play a direct role in building a high-performing team and ensuring we reach our pipeline goals. It’s a great fit if you’re a natural leader with a strong sales background, enjoy data-driven decision-making, and thrive on helping others succeed.
This is a remote working role, based in the UK.
