Your Job
- Manage own sales territory (named accounts and/or geographic/market based territory) and achieve annual and quarterly signings and revenue target quotas.
- Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships, and sales activities to promote PharmaLex services.
- Identify new, valuable, and emerging companies. Use a comprehensive array of sales techniques to find and close business to meet or exceed targets.
- Act as the client point of contact and ensure ongoing client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal operational departments to develop the value proposition.
- Represent the business at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation and proposal to contract negotiation and deal closure, involving PharmaLex resources as appropriate.
- Participate in global and regional sales meetings, scheduled face-to-face once or twice a year, and virtual meetings as required.
- Leverage external and internal contact networks to acquire new business.
Your Profile
- Experience in selling clinical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance solutions, and complex service contracts into the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Device markets.
- Results-driven.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic global matrix environment.
- Proven ability to hunt for and close new business.
- Sense of responsibility and diplomacy.
- Excellent command of English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel within your territory and globally when required.
