Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is hiring a Business Development Manager for timber windows and doors. Your focus will be generating specifications and selling to architects, self-build developers and contractors across construction projects.

The role covers the South East primarily, with flexibility to cover Manchester or Birmingham. Remuneration is £35,000–£45,000 plus a £40,000 bonus, company car and benefits. You will target turnover of £1m and manage orders ranging from £5k to £125k.

Qualifications

• Must have field sales experience in the construction industry selling to architects, self-build developers & contractors.
• IT literate and able to use standard business software.
• Driving license and passport to cover nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Generate specifications and sell timber windows & doors to architects, developers and contractors.
• Manage a range of orders from approximately £5k to £125k.
• Contribute to achieving turnover target of £1m.

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - Timber Windows & Doors with:

• Must have field sales experience in the construction industry selling to architects, self-build developers & contractors
• Open on products sold however ideally from a joinery, doors, windows, timber, fenestration etc background (not essential)
• IT Literate
• Genuine 'get up and go' work ethic
• Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
• Driving license and passport
