Are you ready to shape the future of building-integrated solar technology? Our client is seeking a target-driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our innovative photovoltaic roofing solutions and Mobile Photovoltaic vehicle solutions

About the Role

This high-impact role will see you collaborating directly with the CEO to drive national sales, build strategic relationships with architects and specifiers, and position the company as a market leader in sustainable, integrated solar solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product adoption across a wide range of building and commercial projects – from self-build homes to large-scale commercial developments to mobile energy solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead sales of products across the UK and beyond
  • Build a pipeline through prospecting architects, installers, developers, and major multinationals
  • Deliver compelling CPD presentations and represent the company at exhibitions and trade shows
  • Secure product specification in building projects and oversee sales through to completion
  • Collaborate on technical proposals, energy modelling, and CAD support for client projects
  • Develop and maintain marketing tools, social media campaigns, and sales support material

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven sales experience in the solar, vehicle fleet sales, roofing or building specification sector
  • Commercially savvy with a track record of growing sales nationally or internationally
  • Technical know-how – knowledge of roofing systems and/or fleet and mobile components is a big plus
  • Excellent communicator with strong project and account management skills
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment
