Role Summary

This is a sales hunter role for a Business Development Manager for Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving new business targets by working closely with brokers, insurance and finance professionals and converting inbound enquiries. This home-based role requires a self-reliant, organised individual who has strong sales skills to convert leads into successful deals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, leveraging data analytics and data reporting to identify opportunities and optimise strategies.
  • Achieve new business targets by bringing on new introducers, including insurance and finance brokers, accountants, and banks.
  • Manage and convert new business leads, as well as generate own leads through self-prospecting and managing a local CRM database.
  • Provide feedback on and interact closely with other core functions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with brokers, insurance and finance professionals.
  • Develop underwriting responsibilities and to support new business conversion.
  • Provide accurate management information on a regular basis.
