UNITED WHOLESALE GROCERS LTD in Greater Manchester is seeking a Business Development Manager to build strong commercial relationships with independent retail owners, helping them thrive in a competitive convenience sector, and to implement mutually agreed joint business plans.
A large portion of your time will be spent in-store with partners to deliver projects to tight deadlines, recruit new retailers within the defined territory for our cash & carry hubs and fascia brands, and coordinate

- Develop and build strong commercial relationships with independent retail owners.
- Implement mutually agreed joint business plans and maintain store standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve retailer loyalty and achieve sales targets.
- Recruit new retailers within defined territory for cash & carry hubs and fascia brands.
- In-store presence and promotions with trading team and suppliers.
