We have partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) renowned for their expertise in packaging and manufacturing across the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food-grade product sectors. As the business expand further into the pharmaceutical industry, they have a strong growth strategy with a plan to significantly expand their production capabilities and headcount over the next five years.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This hybrid role offers flexibility with some weekly on-site presence required.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager of the Newcastle site.
Selling the diverse services of the Newcastle facility.
Leveraging experience in liquid manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
The ideal applicant will have both commercial and clinical manufacturing experience, but this isnt essential.
Applicants must be based in the Newcastle commutable area, with clients located across the UK and Ireland.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience in liquid manufacturing within the pharmaceutical sector.
Strong background in both commercial and clinical environments an advantage.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work as the sole BD representative for this particular site.
Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid working model.
Driving license and own vehicle is an advantage.
