Job description

About the Role:

Salary range: 45k - 60k around per annum depending on experience + commission

Based: Remote with some travel to partner sites in the UK

Suvera is seeking a commercially sharp Partnerships Manager to own and drive the growth across our healthcare partner network. This is a brand new, high impact role that sits at the very heart of our growth strategy and is ideal for someone with proven experience in life sciences, Pharma or digital health, who’s passionate about bringing preventative care to people who need it most.

You’ll play a key role in identifying, developing and nurturing strategic partnerships from early-stage lead generation through to commercial discussions. This is not your average business development role, you won’t be slotting into a machine, you’ll be helping us build it. We’re looking for someone who is ambitious and autonomous, who’s comfortable operating in ambiguity and excited to turn opportunity into structure. You’ll take ownership from day one, working closely with our founders and commercial team to craft and execute our partnerships strategy.

Whilst start-up experience is not necessary, the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get what needs to be done is essential. This is a huge growth opportunity for the right person, if you’re someone who thrives in the do-then-scale reality of a start-up, excited by the challenge and mission to keep people in good health - let’s chat!

Please note that a Disclosure will be requested in the event that you are successful and are offered & accept a role with Suvera. The DBS Code of Practice which governs these checks can be found here.

About Suvera:

Suvera is transforming healthcare with a mission to keep people in good health, wherever they are. Partnering with UK general practices, we deliver a virtual clinic that supports patients with long-term conditions. Currently, we manage over 100,000 patients. Our ambitions are global, and we’re just getting started.

Our advisors include luminaries like Professor Bryan Williams, a leader in high blood pressure research and guidelines in the UK. We are a diverse team of about 60 people, including clinicians, care advisors, and experts across various disciplines.

Backed by Google for Startups and Morningside Ventures, Suvera is poised to become a global leader in healthcare.

What you'll be doing:

Identify and Develop Strategic Partnership Opportunities

  • Lead on identifying, segmenting and prioritising high potential partners across Pharma, Life Sciences and the NHS Primary Care ecosystem
  • Conduct deep market research to uncover new opportunities and understand partner pain points, aligning Suvera’s offering to sector needs
  • Collaborate with our CCO to refine our ideal partner profile.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and nurture high-trust relationships across healthcare organisations
  • Lead outbound engagement across multiple channels
  • Full cycle partnership engagement

Sales Progression

  • Manage and own key parts of the sales pipeline, from lead qualification right through to closing
  • Work closely with the CCO to shape commercial proposals and guide prospects through decision making processes
  • Lead on upsell and cross-sell opportunities, identifying where Suvera’s broader offering adds value for existing or prospective partners.

Manage Sales Funnel

  • Manage the progression of leads through our sales funnel, always ensuring momentum and reducing friction or drop-off points
  • Taking initiative when things stall
  • In time, take full ownership of specific segments or partner types

Strategic Submissions

  • Prepare partnership materials, including proposals, contracts MoUs and bid documentation.
  • Coordinate applications for grants, awards and innovation programmes that support new partnerships or pilot opportunities
  • Ensure documentation is aligned with commercial and compliance needs and supports a smooth partner onboarding process.
We're looking for someone who:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Deeply familiar and have a strong grasp of the healthcare and life sciences landscape and the nuances of digital health adoption, you’re an expert!
  • Proven track record of building and managing partnerships end to end
  • Strong experience in partner/client relationship management
  • Comfortable with digital tools and outreach platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Competent with HubSpot

Highly Desirable

Whilst not essential, in addition to the above, you might also have

  • A degree or proven study in a life science subject
  • Medical or clinical background that directly relates to the role

Personal Attributes

  • You’re excited by the messy, meaningful work of building something from the ground up
  • You’re knowledgeable enough to inform or set strategy but humble enough to own the groundwork, from writing emails to building decks and chasing leads
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with the ability to adapt to your audience, you ask the smart questions, articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • No task is too small, you thrive in fast moving environments and understand that start-ups require everyone to roll up their sleeves
  • You take initiative, work proactively and don’t need to be told what to do (but we’re always here when you need it!)
  • You build trust quickly and foster a warm and collaborative energy to every interaction
  • You bring team player energy, you want to be part of something meaningful
  • You’re excited about being involved with transforming the future of healthcare delivery for patients with long-term conditions.
About our culture:

For Suvera, company culture is not an afterthought - it is a priority. Our diverse team helps us ensure we consider everyone’s experience of accessing healthcare when building our product.

The wellbeing of our team is key, and our policies reflect it. We offer up to 40 days annual leave, and encourage and enable flexibility and autonomy over your work. We are non-hierarchical in our ideas, processes and decision-making — if you have an idea, we want to hear it. Always.

The way we work is remote-first. In practice, this means our whole company is set up around not requiring a meeting to make decisions. We have an asynchronous approach to work which encourages documentation and async comms.
