The Role

You will build meaningful relationships with the UK’s largest commercial fleet operators. The Business Development Manager will drive forward the detailed delivery plan that aligns with the sales strategy, addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities faced by UK fleet operators in a rapidly changing market.

You will:

  • Actively pursue and secure new business by developing and strengthening relationships with commercial fleet operators throughout the UK, utilising a consultative approach to identify their requirements and tailor the company’s solutions to meet those needs effectively.
  • Focus on expanding the customer base while fostering partnerships with key industry players such as OEMs, dealers, and leasing and contract hire businesses to enhance market reach.
  • Represent the brand at external events across the fleet industry.
  • Contribute to the launch of new product ideas and service offerings.

What You Need to Bring:

  • 3+ years of business development experience from within the LCV/HGV fleet or charging infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record selling into corporate fleet customers is essential.
  • Experience working with generating your own pipeline and follow ups to ensure you achieve your targets.
  • Highly organised and natural new business hunter.
  • You will be a strong communicator, excellent at planning and a great negotiator.
