The main purpose of the role

We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive based anywhere in the UK at any one of our UK offices.

The main purpose of the role is to:

• To support KMUK’s efforts to penetrate and develop specific sector’s (such as Energy / Defence / Marine) and targeted companies providing both revenue and market share growth
• Monitor and deal with incoming central enquiries
• Monitor and track relevant projects via centralised project management tool
• Provide internal support to / work with Business Development Management team to achieve commercial targets
• Support and develop sales via Digital channels

Key responsibilities are to

• To support the development of ASD’s position within nominated sectors (such as Energy / Defence / Marine), enhancing our current sales and gross margin
• To perform market research on agreed sectors working with the Business Development Managers to manage project pipelines and develop business opportunities
• To maintain market sector knowledge including project and key relationships within the CRM system
• To provide quotation / tender support including supplier sourcing where applicable
• Responsible for quality and upkeep of customer database/records/reports in KliCC
• Account Manage where required contract accounts
