Job summary

Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a fast‑growing logistics and e‑commerce fulfilment business based in Bicester. You will open doors, create opportunities and win new business across the UK and Europe.

You’ll build a strong pipeline, nurture relationships with owners and MDs, and collaborate with operations to turn opportunities into profitable contracts while representing the company with integrity and sustainability in mind.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B new business sales experience.
• Self-generating approach to business development.
• Experience in logistics, transport, 3PL, warehousing or e-commerce fulfilment is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate and win new business across logistics & e-commerce fulfilment.
• Identify opportunities across Oxfordshire, the M40 corridor and the wider UK.
• Build your own pipeline through phone, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and events.
• Develop relationships with business owners, MDs and senior decision-makers.
• Meet customers, understand their requirements and identify the right solution.
• Work with operations to develop commercially sound proposals.
• Sell on service, flexibility, sustainability and partnership rather than price.
• Manage your pipeline, opportunities and forecasts through CRM.
• Negotiate and win profitable new business.
• Attend customer hospitality and networking events.
