Business Development Manager - Events

£40,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits

Hybrid

Global, award-winning events business seeks a talented Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing team, selling bespoke sponsorship packages to global clients.

This role is heavily focused on key account management, with a 70/30 split, requiring candidates with exceptional account management capabilities and experience.

The Business Development Manager role involves selling sponsorship packages across our client's range of industry-leading global B2B conferences.

The position will also involve some international travel to global events and client meetings.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Minimum of 1 year experience in B2B conference sponsorship, recruitment, IT software sales, or similar.
  2. Demonstrated success in achieving excellent revenue results.
  3. Highly organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to maximize productivity and achieve goals.
  4. High emotional intelligence, skilled in building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Highly consultative sales approach.
  6. Personable and enthusiastic, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach—a true team player committed to collective success.
