A leading Energy supplier seeks a high-performing Business Development Manager in Wakefield to drive new business in the UK I&C energy market. You will utilize your direct sales experience to close deals with electricity and gas sectors, lead tenders, and cultivate enduring client relationships.

Job Description:

E1 Partners is recruiting on behalf of a leading Energy supplier who is looking for a high-performing direct sales professional with deep knowledge of the UK I&C energy market.

This role is focused on new business development — identifying, pitching, and closing deals with large energy users (25GWh+), including both electricity and gas sectors. You will lead complex tenders, structure competitive solutions, and build lasting client relationships from the ground up.

  • Direct sales experience in the I&C energy space (TPI broker or supplier side)
  • Strong commercial drive and hunter mentality
  • Proven success in fixed/flex energy contract sales
  • Skilled in managing tenders and complex negotiations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: London office (1-2 times per week)

Salary: Up to £85,000 plus commission
